Adrian Maestas

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Adrian began a musical career based on teachings from his older brother in 1985. Youngest of 3, the musical influences were ranging from classic rock to heavy metal to new wave and classic pop. With a supportive family, Adrian has explored many different musical genres by performing and writing music in bands spanning several genres. A versatile player and backing musician, Adrian performed with many different bands in and around Los Angeles before moving to San Diego in 1990 where he worked holding down the bottom end for several different projects, culminating with a performance on MTV Spring Break. After a brief return to Los Angeles, Adrian moved to Santa Barbara in 1994 and earned a degree in Mathematics while concentrating musical efforts in the jam band scene as well as deeper exercises into Chicago style blues & delta acoustic blues. The same year, Adrian decided to step out front on lead vocals with original compositions. The turn of the century in 2000 brought a move to the San Francisco Bay Area and an explosion of extreme musical styles which saw Adrian the drummer in a punk rock band and a blues band while Adrian the bassist enlisted for darker heavy metal and industrial rumblings. Exciting stage presence and proven studio accuracy has taken Adrian around the U.S. and across Europe without letting go his blues and jam roots. Today, Adrian can be seen & heard performing his original compositions with a range of musical projects in and around San Francisco Bay Area and across Europe.
